Booby Cay Island is a small, uninhabited island located off the coast of Jamaica, in the Town of Negril. It is a nature reserve and is home to a variety of plant and animal species, including seabirds, snakes, and iguanas. The island is a popular spot for snorkeling and diving due to its crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. The best method of transportation that can help you to reach Booby Cay Island in Negril town is by boat.
Booby Cay is also known for its white sandy beaches and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. There are no facilities on the island, so tourists should come prepared with their food, water, and other supplies.
The island, also affectionately known as Gilligan's Island, derives its name from the Booby birds; which use the island as their breeding ground. The island's snorkeling and scuba diving are truly spectacular, as the many coral reefs provide a breeding ground for a dense population of colorful marine life.
You can also go on a cruise with Tiki Pon Da Sea to Booby Cay island for our picnic lunch, then once finished, board back on the Tiki cruise to Bloody Bay and complete the tour with a drop-off back on the 7-mile beach
The Booby Cay Island is open to the public 24 hours a week. The place is ideal for those who want to enjoy water sports, for photographers, bird-watchers, and for sunbathers. You can relax while on this island after enjoying a nice swim.
